All Refurbishment Projects
Roof & Wall Refurbishment, Film Studio, Acton
The contract, which was awarded to us by H & V Building Service Ltd based in Kent, involved remedial works to the roof and installing new wall cladding to the complete perimeter of the building. The elevation works comprised of designing out the curved eaves sheet by introducing new structural steelwork as well as new purpose made cleats and horizontal purlins to recieve the new CA 32/1000W wall cladding. The remedial roof works consisted of replacing both the rooflight and fixings, removing/weathering the redundant vents and applying Giromax Seamsil and Delcote systems to the sheet endlaps and gutters respectively.

Roof Oversheet - Dukes Road, Acton
Infinity are pleased to annouce the succesful completion of another roofing project at the above film studios in Acton. Working for an ongoing client, the works needed to be carefully programmed and supervised as the film studios continued their day to day operation.

Roof and Wall Replacement - Industrial Unit, St Albans
The project consisted of replacing 9000sq.metres of asbestos-cement sheeting with CA’s Twin-Therm built-up roof system including new rooflights and lining gutters. We also installed an internal liner complete with new insulation to achieve current thermal regulations.

Cladding Oversheet - Entire Industrial Estate, Crayford
The entire industrial estate consisting of twenty-two units required modernising. The refurbishment involved upgrading the insulation and oversheeting with contrasting coloured cladding and flashings. Infinity Refurbishment also acted as Principle Contractor for the twenty week programme that also included renewing the windows, shutter and personnel doors.

Roof Replacement - Industrial Unit, Barnet
This existing industrial unit has been leased by a blue-chip electrical goods retailer that can not afford the possibility of water ingress. The existing 2,500m2 built-up steel roof was replaced using Kingspan’s KS1000RW composite panel and the gutters lined with Ampteam’s Unifold system. The complete project took only two weeks!

Cladding, Rooflight & Flat Roof Replacement - Industrial Unit, Heston
This project initially started with the replacement of the failing cladding with CA’s Twintherm and Firewall systems and rooflight outerskins. Infinity also recommended refurbishing the flat roof, endlap and gutter with Protan’s single ply membrane and Giromax’s Seamsil and HPG Delcote systems respectively.

High Performance Coating - Recall Ltd, Stockwell
The asphalt roof and perimeter brickwork had failed resulting in water ingress. The roof was treated using a Giromax 3 layer high performance coating system with 10 year guarantee, whilst the brickwork was completely repaired with new mortar, brick ties and a waterproofing sealant.

Remedial Works - Car Garage, Milton Keynes
The roof of this car garage in Milton Keynes had numerous failings that all required attention. As a result of our detailed survey our proposal was to replace the failing PVC rooflights with new triple skin polycarbonate domes. We upgraded the poorly installed Dektites with in-situ GRP. The cut edge corrosion was treated with the Giromax Seamsil system and finally the failing gutters were overlaid with a Unifold gutter system.

Single Ply Membrane, Crawley
The site, consisting of one existing building and one new build construction, was weathered using both Flag’s mechanically fixed and fully adhered systems. The existing roofs were all overlaid with new insulation and Flag lead grey 1.2mm thick SFC & SR membranes. We designed and installed a completely new system on the “New Build” unit. This comprised of a new steel deck, tapered insulation and Flagon SR system, complete with powered coated gutters and all necessary safety systems.

Oversheeting - Industrial Unit, Rugby
The existing roof had numerous failings; the fixings, gutter, rooflights and cut edge of the sheets had all deteriorated to the point of needing replacement. Rather than renew each component individually, Infinity Refurbishment proposed the complete oversheet of the roof which also included replacing the existing rooflights and installing a Unifold purpose made gutter liner.

Dilapidation works - Industrial Unit, Slough
The dilapidation works carried out on this unit consisted of rooflight replacement, Seamsil cut edge corrosion treatment, replacement of roof and wall fixings, gutter lining using Giromax HPG Delcote, brake press sheet replacement and cladding respray.

Single Ply Membrane, London
The asphalt was failing and experiencing water ingress. Due to the saturation of the existing substrate we proposed using a Flag Soprema single ply membrane which would allow the water to permeate over time whilst maintaining a 100% waterproofing. Our in-house designer had the difficult task of designing a perimeter capping to the building which included a cylindrical area as well as a pitched octagon.

Safety Systems, London
The property managed by Cofely had a health and safety survey carried out that identified the need to provide a safe working area for future servicing of the roof mounted air-conditioning units. Infinity Refurbishment were invited in and proposed a Latchways full edge protection as well as replacing the access hatch with a Whitesales double skin polycarbonate dome.

Roof and Wall Resheet - Industrial Unit, Bedford
Infinity Refurbishment has successfully completed the renovation of an industrial unit using the Kingspan KS1000RW panel.
The asbestos-cement roof sheets (6000sq.m) and built-up steel wall cladding (2000 sq.m) were stripped and replaced in six weeks with the complete project, which including replacing all windows, doors and shutter doors, took approximately ten weeks. The refurbishment started under the provision that the building remained watertight for the duration of the project, this would be normal working practise any other time, however Infinity Refurbishment faced the difficulty of working through the wettest November and the coldest winter for some time.
Since completing the project Infinity refurbishment have been asked to provide their services to a number of local businesses who all watched and admired the development take place.

Nursery, Guildford
This nursery building was refurbished by replacing the existing stramit decking, built-up felt, internal gutters, timber fascia and hard board soffit with Kingspan composite roof panel, including external colour coated steel gutters, cladding and purpose designed cassette soffits. The new roof incorporated triple skin polycarbonate rooflights which were installed to enable the development to qualify for an energy efficiency grant.

Roof and Wall Resheet - Industrial Unit, Twyford
Fire damaged both the roof, wall panels and some additional internal steelwork which resulted in the built-up steel roof/wall cladding being replaced using a Kingpspan KS1000RW 80/60mm respectively complete with new external highline gutters and associated rainwater pipes.

Industrial Unit in Peterborough
Project involved the replacement of the vertical asbestos-cement sheeting using a Kingspan KS1000RW 60mm thick composite panel.
Additions to the contracts involved remedials works to the roof, gutters and associated flashings.
